BRISSC WEB DEVELOPMENT
This website has been designed with consideration of Australian Government Website Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.0), and recommendations available through the international Web Accessibility Initiative. We aim to continually improve the BRISSC website to maximise online accessibility for all web users.
During the ongoing maintenance of this website we hope to continually develop accessibility aspects such as contextual links, text alternatives, and access keys. We welcome your feedback as to how you think that this website could be improved. If you would prefer someone to explain our services verbally, you are welcome call us for a direct conversation, or to arrange a meeting with us. If you would prefer hard copy material please contact us and we can mail out specific information packs.
Fortunately there is now a range of 'Assistive Technology' options which can offer higher quality support to addressing online accessibility needs. Using 'Assistive Technology' allows users with any type of computer or tablet to zoom in on certain parts of the screen, to read the text of a web page out loud, and to read a website using braille terminals.
You can zoom in and out of any online website using 'screen zoom' tools which are already installed in all computer operating systems. To find out how to use 'screen zoom' on your computer, click on the links below depending on which internet browser you are currently using:
- Internet Explorer (Microsoft)
- Safari (Mac)
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
